The Temptation. Read Genesis 3:1-6.   

What do you observe about the serpent's temptation?  How does the enemy still use this strategy to tempt us today?

Does it surprise you that Adam was "with Eve" during the temptation?  What does this tell you about both Adam and Eve's response to temptation? 

The Fall. Read Genesis 3:7-13.

Describe in your own words the immediate results that Adam and Eve experienced after their sin.  How do you see this play out in your relationship with God and others today?

The Curse. Read Genesis 3:16-19.

How would you re-tell God's unique curse on Adam and Eve to someone?

Where do you see a man's tendency toward passivity or dominance (in your life or others)? 

Compare Genesis 3:16 with 4:7.  Where do you see a woman's tendency toward control/competition (in your life or others)?

For married couples or in other close relationships, where have you seen these results of God's curse play out in a vicious cycle?

What are some ways a couple can break out of this cycle and into a life cycle?
