Jesus Ascended to Heaven

1. When you think of Jesus right now, where do you envision Him to be? What do you imagine He is doing? Why do you think this?

2. After Jesus' death and resurrection, what did He do or say to offer evidence that He was alive and had risen from the dead?

3. What were the two commands given by the resurrected Christ to His disciples mentioned in Acts 1:4 and Acts 1:8? Why was it important to get these in sequential order? What are the implications of Acts 1:8 for the church today?

4. Why do you think it is important for the Ascension of Jesus to be witnessed and recorded in the scriptures? Without it, what questions would be left unanswered?
