Filter of Hope believes no one should live without clean drinking water and everyone deserves the opportunity to know Christ. Filter of Hope is driven by Christ-like compassion with the goal of fulfilling the Great Commission as they partner with local churches to develop long-term Gospel impacts of discipleship.
Who are we partnering with? Oscar Fuentes and his Word of Life team in Guatemala. They are a local ministry organization who work alongside the local church to supply transportation, lodging, translators and guides to take Filter of Hope's teams on mission to build up the local church and make the water filter distributions possible.
What will we be doing? With the help of translators, we will visit surrounding communities daily, build relationships with the locals, and install water filters in their homes to those who are without clean water. As we demonstrate how to properly use the water filters, we will take the opportunity to share the Gospel and connect them with the local church.
