About this event

Are you a parent of a junior or senior high student who’s beginning to take those first big steps toward independence?

You’re not alone—and this season doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.

We invite you and your spouse to join us for an evening of conversation, training, and learning as you navigate the next steps of launching your children from high school to college, the workforce, or whatever is next!

Join us as we learn from Dr. Jennifer Freeman, who has served for twenty-five years as Director of Christian Formation at College of the Ozarks, where she led campus-wide initiatives in Christian formation, developed institutional programming, and taught courses shaping students’ theological and vocational identity. In that role, she built and guided institutional structures that integrated worship, discipleship, mentoring, and leadership development across the college community.

In addition to her academic leadership, she recently developed the Rooted Families Guide, a resource designed to support Christian development from infancy through young adulthood. The Rooted Families Guide equips caregivers to intentionally nurture faith across developmental stages, integrating Christian education, relational formation, and lived practice.
