Description: Join Carrie Tucker and Nick Roland for a 4-week class on "How to Teach the Bible". This class will explore methods of teaching needed to effectively communicate the message of the Bible. We will reference the book, Effective Bible Teaching by Wilhoit and Ryken, which offers concrete guidance for mastering a biblical text, interpreting it, and applying its relevance to life. Students will learn how to develop the "big idea" of a passage, explore text-based teaching methods, and write lesson plans while improving their classroom skills.
