Romans 12:3 encourages us to have a humble view of ourselves. Humility is seeing yourself as you truly are; nothing more, nothing less. Who are some humble people you know? How can you grow in seeing yourself as God sees you?
Romans 12:4-5 says that the body of Christ has many members who all are different and yet belong to each other. Do you see yourself as part of the body of Christ? How have you seen that you belong to others and that they belong to you?
Romans 12:6-8 tells us that each of us has been given gifts by God to be shared with the church. What gifts do you have to share with the church?
The expression of these gifts presupposes that you have relationships with those you are sharing them with. How have you built relationships within the body of Christ at Fellowship Bentonville?
The most obvious way for people to express their gifts at Fellowship is in the context of a small group. How have you seen people use their gifts in your community group, men’s group, or women’s group to edify the body?
We hope small groups are a place for each person to belong, grow, serve, and multiply. In what ways have you seen your group help people Belong? Grow? Serve? Multiply?
